The good news is that it would appear that I was able to maintain the legacy (and less secure) protocols and cyphers for the benefit of customers using older software.
The bad news is that the next round of updates could make the older protocols and cyphers obsolete, and the mail system will not accept them as an option. The additional bad news is that the email system is significantly less secure due to having to support clients who have not yet updated to a contemporary operating system and/or eMail client.
I urge any users that have not upgraded to a contemporary operating system and/or eMail client, to do so as a matter of urgency or they may experience connectivity issues following subsequent upgrades.
I recommend that users employ the webmail interface for their mail on https://echo.rpvw.com:2096, or use the Thunderbird eMail client that is available from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/ in a wide variety of languages and with versions for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
