Updates and Kernel Microcodes

The server received today a significant number of updates to various core systems, amongst which was:

Kernel microcode_ctl.x86_64 1:1.17-33.1.el6

As a result of this microcode, the server was rebooted to take full advantage of the protection it offers against the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities.

Kernel was updated to version 2.6.32-896.16.1.lve1.4.54.el6.x86_64 and the server was rebooted.This is a re-base of the kernel to the latest version.
